Tomei Ti Exhaust

Last week i fit this decat full 80mm titanium exhast by Tomei on my Subaru Impreza SPEC C Type RA. I changed it with my old 76mm Miltek. The difference of weight is about 10 kg.

The price in Japan is good also due to nice exchange rate on the market of this period

With this exhuast i got about 15/20ps more than miltek. It is very very loud; about 105 db at idle and 125/130 at full throttle.

Marzabotto 2: The revenge

Last week-end i went to Marzabotto to Nick gang for a final tuning on my Subaru Impreza Spec C Type RA.So

- Maf has been removed and so now the car goes with MAP.
- Launch control active (it's a clutch killer)
- Now the engine light on cockpit is a the knock sensor (very good feature)
- Double map for 100 Ron Fuel and for 10% meth.
- Antilag feature.

ALL DONE WITH FREEWARE SOFTWARE ECUFLASH!!!!!!

Now the car is fast like the previous map, but without meth. Now I can swap to meth map with advance timing and the car fly.

A nice jdm fan meeting In Marzabotto

Last saturday i had nice meeting in Marzabotto city (Bologna area) with some right JDM guys fan. They drive Subaru impreza and Mitsu Lancer evolution cars all well tuned by Nick.

I drove for 620km in total with my SPEC C Type RA. My friend Gianluca bought a very nice FQ360 from UK in very good condition.

New magazines from Japan

Like usually i received some japanease magazines about my hobbies.

Here are the last issues of:

- Option car magazine issue 05 2012

- Import tuner (usa car magazine) 06 2012

It's incredible how many news about new parts are in those Japanease car magazines every month; The quality and the pics inside the magazines are amazing; i love them.

From the date i bought my bnr34 & Impreza Spec c i collected every single issues of those magazines.

Hdi GT2 intercooler newage for Impreza GDB F

I'm fitting this GT2 intercooler by HDi on my '05 Subaru Impreza SPEC C TypE RA. I've anotized the pipes in red for a better cosmetic result and because will be easy to clean them. The turbo is always the turbodynamics/Litchfield LM450-S60 fitted last year.

I changed the original intercooler because with high temperature (summer) the intake temp is high and the car lose power and torque. I changed also my gruppem cold air kit because no space in the engine room due to intercooler pipes. In 5 and 6 gear i get about 430ps with a boost of 1.8 peak and 1.6 costant.

So we used the HDI cold air kit. The BMC air filter that we can use it is not large but i hope it is good for the power i need.
